My Saxophone Equipment: What and why?
Hello, im too a saxophonist, which reeds are you using?
@@new_day666 hi there! I'm using Vandoren Traditional Reeds. I've tried a ton and I always go back to those!
Sounds great bro good luck and keep it up.
@strategenius7600 Thanks!
I play the sax too and so do two of my other siblings
@Damar-b7i awesome! A family of sax players!
Beautiful movement
@@mbrightmusic Thank you!
You are really really good at saxophone 🎷
@@isakthomas1369 thank you! Please subscribe!
Thanks for the wonderful performance of my L.A. TANGO NUEVO, Andrew and Eric!! Bravo!!😀
Our pleasure!
Awesome sir Andrew ❤❤❤❤
@@jessemarfil9000 thanks Jesse!

@@BiggCliph Thank you!
Turn up the volume a bit and you sound amazing
Sounds great! Good luck
@@noahhess4955 thank you!
What mic did you use? This sounds great!
@@joshuakraly984 I'm partial to ribbon mics for saxophone. I believe I used an AEA Nuvo N8.
Thank you! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi my name is Justin i am in 7th grade trying to audition for JHS. is it possible for you to make a lesson on that?? Adagio and allegro by G.F Handel
@@SammiMengLi Hi Justin. Thanks for reaching out to me. I will try and make one and post it in the next few weeks. Thanks for asking!
@@AndrewHarrisonmusic ok I already started practicing and didn’t think you would reply but thank you
I just posted your requested video! Please subscribe!
@@AndrewHarrisonmusic❤thank you. I subscribed!
even though this wasn't intended for this piece, very nice and even legato tonguing
@@angelaclarinet thanks! I agree it works better on clarinet, but it's fun to play!
🌹
Dogs aren't people.😂
They are better than people lol
Nice
Thanks!
He’s doing legato tounging which I respect because it helps make staccatos later on
Spot on!
Wow
HELL YEAH. This sounds amazing
Thank you!
Outstanding performance!
Thank you!
Absolutely love this piece and you did it total justice man props to you
Thank you so much! I just got that music that day! I'll be doing a proper recording soon!
The articulated sections need to be lifted more. Not staccato, but with more separation. It's supposed to sound airy.
bro think he from whiplash
♡
💜
Just played this on clarinet i loved it and its even better on sax good job!
Nice! I'm sure it sounds great on clarinet!
First comment pin 📌
none of your fingerings match the notes that are being played and your ligature is moving around every time you touch it
That's the mystery
Lmao I didn’t know you knew the notes of the piece I wrote so well!! Can you please pay me my royalties tho?
@@robertalexander96 I said this because he played the fingering of a C multiple times and almost every time it was a different note. He also went from A to G# fingerings multiple times and the pitch just so happened to go up instead of down
Ohhhhhh I see. That’s just because he’s playing on an F soprano
Nah he's legit and knows what he's doing. I've seen him live a few times, and he's played a concerto with my college before. He's a very talented saxophonist and teacher.
Thanks for watching!
awesome playing
Thanks! Please subscribe!
Wow! 👍👍
Thanks! Still needs work but it's getting there!
Great performance and interpretation! Also bravo to the arranger!
Thank you!
So cool to find this recording!
It's such a cool piece! Glad you enjoyed it!
beautiful
Thank you!
Hello Andrew. Ivy and I watched the above video, and were impressed and delighted by the lively composition and by your impeccable performance. It's difficult to even imagine the technical demand it requires which you made look easy (a huge compliment) but we enjoyed your passion and expressiveness as well. Congratulations. On a lighter "note" I was trying to figure out what you were wearing, and your aunt said it looked like a "kurta."
Thank you!
Yes a kurta!
En verdad nunca había escuchado esta obra en sax. Genial. Abrazo a este artista. Saludos desde México. Feliz año.Juve Flores.
Muchas gracias! Feli anos tambien!
A very accurate performance. Congratulations
Thank you
Amazing ❤️
Oriental music is not so common in saxophone music! I LOVE it 😃
I agree! There are some great pieces coming out of Japan right now.
Hello Mr.Harrison! I was the one of the clarinets at the PVHS Highschool farewell concert. TC4 played a song called Finding the Words and I thought you would like to listen to Winter from The Maker!
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look it up

I'd be happy to. Do you have any recordings?
Awesome
Thank you!
Wow! I want to hear all the other great arrangements too. This is like dark chocolate and good port... with Fred Astaire dancing... then dissolving in moonlight.
Thank you so much Wendi! So glad you enjoyed it!
